Dominant Canadians reach Women's Rugby World Cup final after beating New Zealand

Canada continued its magical run at the Women’s Rugby World Cup after defeating defending champion New Zealand 34-19, advancing to the final Friday afternoon in Bristol, England.

Canada continued its magical run at the Women's Rugby World Cup after defeating defending champion New Zealand 34-19, advancing to the final Friday afternoon in Bristol, England.

Canada now awaits the winner of No. 1 England and No. 4 France, who face off in the second semifinal on Saturday. 

It will be the first appearance for Canada at a World Cup final since 2014. 

The final will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27.
